Calculator entries

Numbers entered into MoneyPathTools calculators are processed in your web browser. MoneyPathTools does not receive, submit, or store those calculator entries, and the calculators do not connect to a bank or financial account.

Email subscriptions

If you request the free Money Reset Starter Kit or join the MoneyPathTools email list, MoneyPathTools and its email provider, Kit, process the email address and signup information you provide. Kit may also record the signup source and time, confirmation and unsubscribe status, email delivery information, and engagement information such as opens and link clicks. The signup uses a confirmation step before the address becomes an active subscriber.

Do not enter account numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, or other sensitive financial information in an email form or ordinary email message.

Site activity and analytics

MoneyPathTools uses Google Analytics and Metricool to understand website activity and improve its guides, calculators, navigation, and marketing. These services may collect pages viewed, referral source, browser and device details, approximate location, and interactions such as scrolls, outbound-link clicks, site searches, video engagement, file downloads, and form interactions. They may use cookies or similar identifiers to provide these reports. Calculator entries remain in your browser and are not sent to Google Analytics or Metricool. The website host may also collect IP addresses, device or browser information, request times, and similar technical logs needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site.

How information is used

MoneyPathTools uses the information described above to:

• deliver the requested starter kit and email updates;
• operate, protect, and troubleshoot the website and email service;
• understand aggregate traffic, downloads, and email engagement;
• improve MoneyPathTools content, products, and communications; and
• keep required records and comply with applicable law.

Service providers and disclosures

MoneyPathTools uses service providers only as needed to run the business. These include Kit for signup forms, email delivery, subscriber management, and email analytics; Google Analytics and Metricool for website measurement; and the website host for delivery and security. Kit processes newsletter subscriber data under its Data Processing Addendum and explains its own practices in Kit's Privacy Policy.

MoneyPathTools does not sell or rent subscriber email addresses. Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, prevent fraud or abuse, protect rights or safety, or complete a business transfer.

Kit-hosted pages may display optional recommendations or other Kit features. Any choices made through those features are also governed by the notices and controls shown by Kit.

Email choices

Joining the email list is optional. You can decline the confirmation email or unsubscribe at any time using the link in a MoneyPathTools marketing email. Marketing messages include a working unsubscribe method and the postal address configured for MoneyPathTools in Kit. After an unsubscribe request, limited information may be retained on a suppression list so the request can continue to be honored.

Retention

Active subscriber information is kept while you remain subscribed and afterward only as long as reasonably needed for delivery, recordkeeping, security, legal obligations, and honoring opt-out requests. Analytics and technical-log information is retained according to the settings and practices of the service providers involved. You may request deletion of information controlled by MoneyPathTools, subject to information that must be retained for legal, security, transaction, or opt-out purposes.

Your privacy requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information. You may also withdraw email consent at any time. Send a request to hello@moneypathtools.com. Reasonable steps may be taken to verify that the request relates to you.

Cookies and browser controls

Google Analytics, Metricool, and third-party pages may use cookies or similar technologies. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, although doing so may affect some website or third-party features.

Security

MoneyPathTools uses reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect the limited personal information it handles. No website, email system, or Internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children's privacy

MoneyPathTools is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. MoneyPathTools does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

External links and purchases

Links to Kit, Etsy, Gumroad, government resources, and other websites take you to services governed by their own privacy policies and terms. Purchases made through Etsy or Gumroad are processed by the selected platform under its policies. Review a third party's terms before providing information or making a purchase.

Financial information

Do not send sensitive financial information through ordinary website, email, or marketplace messages. MoneyPathTools articles and workbooks are educational and organizational resources, not individualized financial, tax, legal, credit, or investment advice.

Policy updates

This policy may be updated as MoneyPathTools changes its website, providers, or practices. The date below identifies the latest revision.
